Iranian film ‘Astigmatic’ will attend Fajr Int'l Film Festival

Iranian film ‘Astigmatic’ has been scheduled to be screened at the 36 edition of Fajr Film Festival in January 2018.

‘Astigmatic’ is a social drama jointly written by Payam Karami and the director of the film, Majid-Reza Mostafavi.

The movie narrates the story of a couple, Ensi and Zabin, who live in the suburbs of Tehran expecting a baby, however, the destiny is not as they could predict.

The star-studded film has Iranian actresses such as Baran Kosari, Niki Karimi, Behnoush Bakhtiyari on the cast list.

This is the second directorial experience of filmmaker Mostafavi with his first work ‘Unripe Pomegranates’ becoming the official selections of several international festivals.
